Every woman should do a boudoir shoot, beauty shoot, or glamour session. It is an amazing feeling to be pampered, get a makeover, and then spend some fun time in front of the camera. It is always a fun time for my clients. We laugh and listen to music.. have fun, and they walk out feeling gorgeous and amazing! I am always saying goodbye to them while they smile from ear to ear…. so happy they did the shoot! Today I wanted to say… at least do a white sheet session!! This is my favorite set! I have said it before, and I am sure I will again… the white sheet set is just clean, and simple, and all about YOU. It isn’t about what is the latest Victoria’s Secret outfit, not that those shots aren’t great too, but this is all about YOU!!

One of my latest clients is allowing me to share a few of her images! She was just so glowing here in the white sheet, so I thought I would show these!! Mrs. V also was the winner of a Kindle Fire from one of our open houses. Don’t miss the next one in April! Stay tuned for more info on that!

A recent Columbus Boudoir client, Mrs. T, offered to write a little something about her boudoir session. I love when clients share a little about their experience. It is such a fun experience, and sometimes it is eye opening. Anyone that looks at Mrs. T would think… obviously she is stunning… but she didn’t seem to feel that way. She was a bit worried that she wouldn’t like any photos of herself. I knew she would once she saw them! It is very rewarding for me to help women see themselves the way others do. Everyone should feel beautiful… and I love to help them feel that way! Here is her email to me:

“For some time I wanted to do a boudoir-type shoot, but I didn’t know where to begin. I found Columbus Boudoir simply through a Google search last summer, and soon after I attended one of Heather’s open houses. After seeing her beautiful pictures online and a shoot at the open house, I was sold.

I was so excited about the prospect of the shoot, but when the day finally arrived I was a bit nervous. But Heather made me feel very comfortable, and it also helped that my make-up and hair was in good hands. (It was gorgeous!) Having never modeled before, I wasn’t sure what to do or what would look good. Again, Heather to the rescue! She directed me in different poses that she knew would transfer beautifully into a photograph.

When it was time to review my pictures, I admit I was a little anxious, after all, I’m no model! But when I laid eyes on them, I certainly felt like I was! For the first time in my life I looked at a picture of myself and said, “That’s pretty!” “Wow! These pictures are beautiful!”

These are pictures I will cherish forever. I felt feminine, classy, romantic, sexy. And I am so happy I finally had them taken.
Heather was very professional, and I would recommend Columbus Boudoir to any woman who is looking to feel the same way I did following my shoot.”

Fun shoot with Mrs. C {Columbus Boudoir Photography}

Mrs. C called me and knew what she wanted! She had it all planned out, and wanted some variety… and a full day experience! I was so happy to give this to her. We had 6 outfits and the white sheet set, my makeup artist Meg Morosco of Makeup Artistry by Meg stayed the whole shoot, to pamper Mrs. C, and make sure she looked perfect through the whole day! We laughed a lot.. had so much fun planning out which poses would be most loved by her husband! And Mrs. C so graciously said I could use a few to show my clients… she wanted to share how much fun she had. In an email she said:

”Thank you SO very much! I know my husband is going to LOVE the pics— and I loved the whole experience… Every woman wants to feel sexy and you are great at helping bring that out. ”

I love anything to do with Marie Antionette and the style of that time! Gorgeous!! So I had thought long and hard about doing a boudoir marie antionette shoot. I wanted it to be cute and pretty…and yet, a little boudoir inspired. I had help from two lovely Columbus girls, I will keep their names out on the blog.. and Styling assistance by Vanessa Celotto of Wear to Stand Out — many of my shots can be seen in her portfolio there too! I hope you enjoy this bit of gorgeousness! All of this furniture, and the outfits etc., are mine and are at our studio… incase anyone wants to incorporate this type of look into a session!

Why does Mrs. S want to share her boudoir images? She wanted to make sure I shared a few of her amazing gorgeous images to show women of all ages they should do a shoot. She felt amazing during and after her shoot, and said it was a huge confidence boost! I loved working with her, it was a lot of fun, and inspiring to me to love yourself and feel sexy… through your life… don’t let your age dictate anything. Now I personally know that Mrs. S looks amazing.. but sometimes it takes seeing to believe. I love to show women this.. and I am very happy when I can share images so that other women can see how fun a boudoir shoot is and how much it can boost your self confidence and ignite a spark in your relationship as well!! Sweet, sexy and implied nude boudoir {Columbus Boudoir Photography}

This client was photographed a while back, but I always loved her look. I wanted to share a few more from her session. Just soft and pretty. Also note on image on the right side : the implied shot on the bed is something that will make sure he looks twice, maybe ten times.. because you are laying there nude, but he is still just teased with the thought of it. I love implied nude work, as it is all natural, all you, but you are still leaving something to his imagination!
